Toni Montalbán, chef at La Costa Beach & Golf Resort and chef at the Aquamare restaurant, has a long professional career of 34 years behind the stoves. In 1984, when he was only 16 years old, he began his adventure in the restaurant Montserrat Can Salvi as a kitchen assistant. It was then that he fell in love with the profession, and it became his way of life: evolving, working, training through traditional cooking and author cuisine, and learning from the bests every day. A life full of satisfactions and pride for the profession.

More than 20 years’ broad experience in hostelry. He has enjoyed work stays at Restaurant Drolma and in several hotels in England where he extended his knowledge and experience in dining room service as well as mastering the language, which has enabled him to grow and improve. He is currently working as the Dining Room Manager at La Costa Golf & Beach Resort, where he has been for more than 15 years.
